American Express

The Student Conservation Association is proud to partner with American Express in building the next generation of conservation leaders. American Express volunteers, SCA alumni, and local community participants help protect their lands and restore vital ecosystems. In partnership with American Express, the Student Conservation Association has engaged thousands of participants across the nation in hands-on service to the land. These efforts serve to build the next generation of conservation leaders and inspire lifelong stewardship of the environment.

A Year for Sustainability at Home

In 2020, SCA and American Express pivoted to create virtual programming that supported the health of our community and our planet. In partnership with American Express, SCA engaged over 850 youth, alumni, employees, and community members across the nation in online conservation education and virtual programming. These efforts totaled impacts of almost 11,000 hours of engagement spanning 11 quick touch conservation videos, 28 virtual environmental education sessions, and 9 weeks of youth education.
